52/52 - Music

This was supposed to be posted LAST YEAR (as in... about a week ago OOPS!), but this is the final in my "Photo a Week"  project for 2015.

On Christmas day, we got together at Uncle Robbie & Aunt Julie's for dinner. After we stuffed ourselves with delicious food, we gathered by the piano and sang hymns.  I snapped this picture of Aunt Jules at the piano, and that's the final picture for the saga:

49/52 - Skating

This afternoon, I went "ice skating" with some friends and this little sweetheart.  The city brought in a pop-up skating rink for the weekend, and it wasn't really ice (which was probably good considering it was like 60* today), but rather some sort of slicker-ish plastic something. Kinda reminded me a little bit of a slick wet cutting board. Anyhow, not the easiest stuff to actually skate on, but it was sure fun watching Little Missy give it a try...

45/52 - Play

So... somehow I ended up two weeks behind, so this week & next, I'll have to pull double duty.

I'm not a huge fan of snow, but I DO enjoy the first snow of the winter.  And really, I love the snow... if I get to stay inside with a hot cup of coffee or cocoa and don't have to venture out in it. The nieces, however, LOVE the snow! They even managed to make some mini snowladies...

I snapped this while out on a family photo shoot yesterday.  I've gotta say... this family is SO BLESSED to have this view in their front yard!

The tree in our front yard is always beautiful in the Autumn! We planted this tree shortly after we moved into our house when I was 5...

This week's photo is "your favorite feature about yourself." I chose my eyes. Sometimes they're blue; sometimes they're green; sometimes they're a beautiful, fabulous (in my opinion) mix of the two:

One of my favorite things...

I don't have any desire to be a firefighter, nor do I wish to require their services, but I DO have a thing for firetrucks and firehouses and firefighters!

These are a few of the shots from the senior photo shoot I did this summer for my sister & my cousin. It was MASSIVELY hot in that church, but it was fun to climb up in the balcony and snap these! They weren't my favorite in terms of quality, but I do want to try this again, maybe with some better lighting.
